From Plein air to studio, is often how my paintings develop. This August, my husband had a conference at the beautiful Omni Resort in Amelia Island. The resort included a nature center and kayaking out into the marsh. As I worked on this study painting, the nature guide bought it on the spot! What a joy to paint! I watched as boats went out and came back in.
