I made a series of paintings of the same scene at different times of day. I was experimenting with using different under colors to create the mood.
I used bright pink to do Daybreak. I tried to capture that morning glow as the sun rose.
I used lime green to create High-noon. I wanted to create the bright sunshine bouncing off everything.
I used orange to do create Evenings End. I wanted that last moment of sun peeking through.
